Helicopters Without Borders

Increasing access to health and wellness through aviation

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reports that in 2021 over 200 million people will require humanitarian assistance and protection, and this number is increasing. Helicopters Without Borders (HWB) believes that we can play an important role in slowing this growth with a proactive approach in innovative flight services.

Helicopters Without Borders is a registered charity aiming to connect communities, NGOs and Government Agencies with transportation solutions. Our mission is to serve as a sustainable and non-partisan channel to provide vulnerable populations with protection, health care, clean water, food and nutritional goods. Currently, HWB is flying nurses and COVID vaccines to remote and rural Indigenous communities across British Columbia, Canada. Helicopter Without Borders believes that access to comprehensive, quality health care services is a fundamental human right.

HWB is proud to say we are fully carbon neutral. Recognizing aviation as a significant contributor to global carbon levels, HWB seeks to maximize the use of electric and hydrogen vertical take-off and landing aircraft, and sustainable technologies as they emerge.

We envision a more sustainable future for generations to come, which is why we are excited to learn of ways to integrate electric and hybrid VTOL technologies to deploy passengers and cargo in the same capacity as a helicopter.
